The Department of Pharmacology moved officially on April 25, 2008 - after a decade of various provisional housings - to the new LNC Building at Medicinaregatan 13.

Main research areas over the decades have covered broad aspects of neuropsychopharmacology and related topics.

Several university courses in various aspects of Pharmacology are given at the Department to students of i. e. Medicine, Dentistry, Biomedical Techniques, Pharmacy, and the Biomedical Sciences Programme.
